I'm failing to understand how you can 'act like a friend' when you are friends. Perhaps it has to deal with her extroversion - that she'd prefer you speak to her more often than when personal matters come up and maybe indulge her in a few hobbies?

I doubt it's really you right now, Yosuke-san. The situation Chie-san has found herself in has likely made her feel inadequate in some manner. Given how she tends to express herself, you were her proverbial punching bag. Maybe she's even been wanting to express her anger at someone in particular, but doesn't feel like she can.

i kinda doubt that... she only does it to me, no one else. and i dont think constantly trying to make me pay for food counts either. although she actually hasnt done either since i got here which is nice.
